Angela E. Outten, a native Floridian, was born and raised in the Tampa Bay Area. She is admitted to practice before all Florida state and federal courts.

Angela received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida with Honors. She earned her law degree cum laude from Stetson University College of Law in 1993.

Ms. Outten has been Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Florida Bar since 2001. Only 13 of Pinellas County's several thousand attorneys have achieved this distinction. She is also rated "AV" (highest rating for professional ethics and excellence) by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Angela has been named a Florida Super Lawyer by her peers in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. In 2006, Angela was voted one of the Top 50 Female attorneys in Florida. She has lectured on employment laws at Stetson University College of Law, The Clearwater Bar's People's Law School Series and St. Petersburg College.  Angela was appointed a member of the Pinellas County Personnel Board on behalf of the Employee Advisory Committee which represents Pinellas County employees.

Angela's practice is devoted to representing employees in all aspects of employment law.  She holds one of the largest employment law verdicts in the State of Floirda.  She has been approved as class counsel in a prominent, multi-million dollar race discrimination lawsuit and acheived substantial recoveries for clients in sexual harassment, equal pay, age discrimination and national origin discrimination lawsuits. She accepts clients who have been discriminated against and/or harassed on the basis of their sex, race, age, religion and national origin. She also represents employees who have been unlawfully retaliated against for being whistleblowers, opposing unlawful discrimination and filing worker's compensation claims. In addition, Ms. Outten represents employees on unpaid overtime disputes, breach of employment contract claims and Family Medical Leave Act violation suits.
